Young Researchers in Algebraic Number Theory (Y-RANT)

Thursday 8th November – Friday 9th November 2018
University of Sheffield, UK

Y-RANT is a two day conference at the University of Sheffield aimed at young researchers (PhD students and postdocs) working in or interested in algebraic number theory and arithmetic geometry.

All participants who wish to are highly encouraged to give a talk, either on your own research, or an overview of a topic you’re interested in.

Aside from your own talks, there will be two “grown-up” talks given by Dr. Ana Caraiani (Imperial) and Prof. Minhyong Kim (Oxford).

Thanks to generous support from the London Mathematical Society, the Heilbronn Institute for Mathematical Research, and the University of Sheffield, funding is available for travel and accommodation for UK-based participants!
